Options-Based Training
This week the district sent communication about Options Based Training. Next week, each of our schools will have one day where building staff will be trained by local law enforcement along with the building administration in Options Based emergency response. In order to make this necessary training a reality, we will need to keep students home on each building’s designated training day to allow our staff and trainers to complete this important work. We recognize that this is inconvenient for parents and we apologize for this; however, we must continue to prioritize safety.
Please note that the Dublin Staff Training Day (No School for Students) will take place next Wednesday, 12/15/21.
Dublin will have a school-wide training for students on Thursday, 12/16/21.
Please note that I will send an email on Monday, 12/13 with additional details regarding the student training that will take place next Thursday. Elementary principals will be collaborating together and with local law enforcement to ensure student training is developmentally appropriate and takes the needs of our elementary students into account. This training will NOT be ALL day, but rather, will last for about 45 minutes.
This training is necessary so we can all be as prepared as possible to ensure the safety of everyone. Please know that we will have staff on-site to support students. We appreciate all of your help and support.

Arrival and Dismissal Procedures
All families that are picking up students at the end of the day must sign up for Car Rider or Shamrock Pick-Up this school year. Signs from previous years will not work as we are running a different system this year. If you have not signed up yet and gotten yellow 2021-22 dismissal signs, please call our office.
As a reminder, if your child's normal dismissal routine changes for the day, our office needs to be notified no later than 3:30.
Authorization to Administer Medication Form
If your child needs to have medication administered at school, parents must complete an AUTHORIZATION to ADMINISTER MEDICATION FORM. We must have an updated form each school year.
Please click on the link to view. Print out and complete the form. Please drop it off at our main office as soon as possible. You can also email it to our secretaries Diane Yanalunas or Laura Edwards.
