Happy Hispanic Heritage Month!

As we close out National Hispanic Heritage Month on October 15, we want to celebrate and recognize the diverse Hispanic cultures on our campus. Embracing different cultures strengthens awareness and acceptance, breaks down barriers while enhancing relationships with those around you. When we genuinely take an interest and learn about others, we realize we are more alike than different.

“We need to help students and parents cherish and preserve the ethnic and cultural diversity that nourishes and strengthens this community - and this nation” -César Chávez.

Cabaret Night was a hit!

For the first time in 18 months, Walnut High School’s choir program held a performance in front of a live audience. It was an amazing “Cabaret” night!

Cabaret is a form of entertainment that features both musical and theatrical elements, and this performance featured many students showcasing theater-based songs.

Thank you to our Choir Director, Lisa Lopez, for all the behind the scenes work to make it all come together.
