Message from the Principal

Dear Central Road Families,

Thank you for providing positive feedback about the digital communication from Central Road. For the remainder of the school year, I will be sharing my newsletter on Sundays at 5:00 p.m.

Central Road will be participating in Blessings in a Backpack this school year. The program provides food to students over the weekend. Students receive a bag of items that children can enjoy while they are not in school. If your family is in need of this resource, please contact Ms. Jarosz at jaroszm@ccsd15.net. We can provide food to 50 students this school year. Volunteers are needed to put together the bags of food for students. Packing will take place weekly on Thursdays at 2:00. Please reach out to me if you are able to help. Together, as a community, we will support our children. If you would like more information on Blessings in a Backpack, please visit this site. https://www.blessingsinabackpack.org/

We are in the process of identifying students for out of level math. It is important we keep our classroom sizes balanced with the placement of students in different grade levels. We will notify families if any adjustments are made to the staff member that is teaching your child’s math course. Thank you for your patience, so we can ensure every child’s individual needs are being met.

Let’s make it a great week!

Warmest regards,

Patti Van Winkle

Principal
