Fall Break October 19th - 20th No School
Message from ADMIN
Quarter 1 Grades - Quarter 1 ended on Friday, October 13th and grades will be posted Wednesday, October 18th. This grade comprises 50% of the student's overall grade for the semester. Semester grades, which end Dec. 19th, will be posted to transcripts. If your child is not meeting your family's expectations, please get in touch with his/her teacher or counselor for further support.
Wednesday, October 19th - Due to the shortened school week for fall break, Wednesday, we will be following our 1-7 period schedule.
Academic Awards
Please join us at the Fall Academic Awards Ceremony on Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 7:45 am to 9am in the Jefferson Auditorium.
Your child will be recognized during our Fall Awards Ceremony for their academic achievement during the spring of 2023 at Jefferson Jr./Sr. High School. Invitations have been handed out to your students during their advisement class on Thursday.
Immediately following the ceremony there will be a grab & go breakfast. For this reason we ask that you RSVP, they are due by the 18th.

Counselor's news
This week has been College and Career Week! Students participated in 12th grade Red Rocks Visits, 11th and 12th grade Job Fair Field Trips, College Door decorating contest, and a College Fair hosted at Jefferson.
October 18th- 10th Grade Career Expo, every 10th grader will attend! If you do not want your student to attend, please reach out to their counselor.
BIONIC hosted a Sammy's Buddy event between our BIONIC (Believe It Or Not I Care) students and our SSN program. Sammy's Buddy is a non-profit focused on increasing disability awareness and inclusion. Students participated in get to know you activities and a fashion show where recycled materials were used to make clothing.
