ST. MARY'S COOKING CLASS:
The St. Mary's Cooking Class was a HUGE success! A very BIG thank you to Ms. Alina and River's mom for taking time to teach us how to cook! All of us students made Spinach Quiche, which was AMAZING and so much fun to make. I have done the cooking class both times that it has been offered, and it has been SO much fun! Since we cook such healthy and delicious dishes, it helps kids to have an open mind about healthy nutrition and eating good foods that are great for your body! I encourage EVERYONE to sign up for the cooking class because you will have a great time, AND you get to bring home a large sample of what we made!

Stations of the Cross
What are the Stations of the Cross?
The Stations of the Cross are a series of paintings or small sculptures along the walls of a Church telling the journey of Jesus on his way to his death represented in 14 different pictures. On Fridays during Lent, people in the church gather to hold the tradition of moving around each station to commemorate the Passion of Christ.
When can I go to see this?
You can go to this every Friday during Lent at 2:30 at St. Mary’s church where you can join St. Mary’s students and Fr. Matthew as we go through the Stations as read by the school’s 6th and 7th graders.

St. Patrick/St. Patrick's Day
"The love of God and his fear grew in me more and more, as did the faith, and my soul was raised., so that, in a single day, I have said as many as a hundred prayers and in the night, nearly the same." "I prayed in the woods and on the mountain, even before dawn. I felt no hurt from the snow or ice or rain."
