Community Parade and Football Game
We hope you will join us for the community parade on the morning of Saturday, 9/24 as it winds through the streets from Big R to Widefield High School. The parade will begin at 10:30am. We will then host the rivalry football game, against Mesa Ridge, in the afternoon, after the parade. Kick off is at 1pm. We are the home team this year!
This week is spirit week! See the themes above and posted around school! We will have a daily raffle for prizes for anyone that dresses up to match the theme! Show your school spirit and dress for the theme each day.
Lifeguarding Class Opportunity
Are you interested in becoming a lifeguard? Then we have the class for you! This year, for the first time ever, we are collaborating with Widefield Parks & Rec to offer Lifeguarding as a class during 2nd semester. We will cover the cost of the certification (a $300+ savings), you will get certified AND get a PE credit, and then can apply to work at Widefield Parks & Rec this summer at over $15/hour! The class will be offered 8th hour 2nd semester to anyone 15 and over by the last day of class in May. If you are interested in taking lifeguarding, please see your counselor, asap!
