Teaching and Learning Corner (with Ms. Snyder)
Congratulations on the strong iReady growth! As we take a look at the data, let’s empower scholars as the owners of their learning by meeting with each scholars conferencing about growth and goals. Scholars should be able to name their strengths and growth areas, while setting a goal for themselves between now and the PSSA.
We are still iReady testing for 6-8 reading and will be doing make-ups this week. Please refer to the schedule here for the details.
Final Grades Due: March 9th (with completed comments)
Instructional Strategy: Ms. Snyder and Academy Leaders will be meeting individually with each teacher regarding their data starting on Tuesday. Your slot will occur during your prep, but will not necessarily be Tuesday. Please come prepared to celebrate your growth, identify areas of focus, and the development of an action plan moving forward. Each meeting will start with these two questions you need to be prepared to answer:
- What are you most proud of regarding your class’ data?
- What are you most concerned about regarding your class’ data?
