  • Blandin Foundation Education Grants

    Grants are funds that do not need to be paid back and are based on family income. Many students may qualify for some grant money, even with higher income. Funding is available each year student is in higher education.

    Deadline to apply is March 1, 2021


Before each year of college, apply for federal grants, work-study, and loans with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form. Your college uses your FAFSA data to determine your federal aid eligibility. Many states and colleges use FAFSA data to award their own aid. After submission, you’ll receive your Student Aid Report.

STORY2 - Help for Essay Writing

Story2 is a tool for improving writing skills and writing essays. The FREE version includes writing prompts, Personal statement and story builder, writing scholarship and admissions essays. There are paid versions from $10/year and up that will allow you to work with a coach to give you feed back on your writing.
ALWORTH SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINE JAN 15, 2021

Seniors in NE MN counties may qualify for up to $20,000 distributed over eight semesters. Alworth Scholarship dropped their ACT requirment this year! So if you are going into STEM majors and have a GPA OF 3.5, apply NOW!

Lake Country Power Operation Round Up Scholarship

Seniors can apply for $4000 scholarships ($1000 renewable for 4 years) from Lake Country Power Parent/Guardian must be a member of Lake Country Power; GPA 2.5 or higher. Essay and 2 letters of recommendation required.

Application Dates: Jan 1 until deadline Jan 31, 2021
