Principal's Corner
Thank You Veterans
Our students and staff would like to extend a huge thank you to all Veterans for their service and for keeping America safe.
Community Service Project (CSP) November 13-17, 2017
Monday: Silly Socks for Snacks (wear your silly/mismatched socks if you bring in a non-perishable snack).
Tuesday: PJ's for PB&J (bring in a jar of peanut butter and/or jelly and wear your clean/school appropriate pajamas to school).
Wednesday: "Wackers" for Crackers (wear mismatched clothes if you bring in a box of crackers).
Thursday: Sportswear for Soup (bring in a can of soup and wear your favorite sports apparel).
Friday: Hat Day for the Hungry (bring in any non-perishable food item and wear your favorite hat). *Students who have pre-paid for Hat Day do not have to bring a food item in order to wear a hat.
Spirit week food items can be placed in the boxes in each wing. Thanks in advance for your support.

The PTO is selling Thanksgiving spirit sticks! There is a limited number available so buy early!

The student holiday shop is December 13-15, 2017. The PTO is looking volunteers! Please call the office if you are able to help.

We Are Looking for Substitutes
Hi-Tec is also looking for substitute custodial staff. See flyer for more information.
Drop off and Pick up
Drop off:
- Students eating breakfast will enter the building @ 8:10 AM and go directly to the cafeteria.
- Breakfast is available for students who ride the bus to school. They will go directly to the cafeteria off the bus.
- Students not eating breakfast will enter the building at 8:20 AM.
- We ask that parents allow students to go to the cafeteria and/or their classroom by themselves.
- If you are driving and dropping off your students please use the carline. DO NOT drop your student off in front of the school or by the parking lot island.
- If you wish to walk your student to the door, please park in our parking lot.
Pick Up:
- Remind your child(ren) to look for their car while they wait.
- Please do not walk up to carline and pick students up.
- If you have not yet completed your Skyward verification, please do so as soon as possible. One of the updates includes your 5-day plan for dismissal. We will use that when questions arise.
Volunteer Background Forms - Don't Miss out on a Field Trip!
Reminder...a new volunteer from is needed each school year. There is no carry over.
