Wrap up of Week 1
We know that there has been some technical glitches and some learning curves that we have all had to work through...we do appreciate how we have all worked together to make it work for our students. Parents we know this is difficult especially at the beginning of this new adventure. We are here for you! We also want to thank you for working with us to get the routines set in place and having your child ready to learn.
Our weekly Roars will usually come out on Tuesday afternoons with the weekly information in them. So please look for them on Tuesdays.
Unplug this weekend! We have all been connected to our laptops or ipads all week long. I am going to try to relax by reading an actual book, do a puzzle, play a game with my family, or go for a walk. We all need that time away from the device! Enjoy!

School Office Hours
Colony Meadow's Office Hours are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
We are open to visitors from 8:00-4:00 by appointment only. Please call 281-634-4120 to set up an appointment as needed.

At Home Kit Pick-Up - Front Office between 8:00 and 4:00
Each Tiger will need to come pick-up there At Home Kit from school this week.
If you were unable to pick up your At Home Learning Kits this week, you will need to come by the school to pick one up. You will need to come to the front office and ring the doorbell and we will deliver the correct kit to you.
The consumable textbooks will be included with your kits. These will be expected to be brought back to school with your child when we resume face-to-face teaching so please make sure that you keep it in a safe place.
We will miss you Mrs. Boyd
Even though she is excited about the new adventure...it is bittersweet because she will miss all of our Tigers!
And we will miss her!
Technology Resource Help
- If you are still in need of a device, please fill in the appropriate forms in Skyward and then make an appointment with the front office to come pick up the device and/or hot spot.
- If you are using a FBISD device, you will need to restart your computers every so often to allow for updates to download and update. Some of us do not turn our computers all the way off every night...this does not allow for all updates to update. So if you will turn them off at night this should help.
