Pottery Jam 2020!!!
The St. Francis Fine Arts Department is thrilled to once again host our Annual Pottery Jam Fundraiser on Friday, November 6th - Sunday, November 8th. All funds raised directly benefit the continued growth of our Fine Arts Department. To maintain the safety and health of all members of the St. Francis community, this year's event will have slight changes which include a mask requirement and sign-ups for specific times to attend. Look for sign-ups, along with information for class sessions later this week! Mrs. Sweeney will also have sign-ups for Middle School student volunteers, so have your child be on the lookout! If you are a parent, and would like to volunteer or have general questions please email sfcspotteryjam@gmail.com.
School Family Mass
Halloween Trunk o' Treat - Friday, October 30th
It will be a new path this year since we will not be visiting the residents at Bloom. We still have many spots available for parents to decorate a trunk. If you would like to participate by decorating a trunk this year then please email Mrs. Markey at mmarkey@sfcshhi.com. Parents that will be handing out candy at a trunk must wear a mask.
It will be a dress down day for the students prior to the parade. Students need to wear the portions of their costume that would require them to change privately in the bathroom to school that day. All other portions may be brought to school in a bag and may be put on in the classroom. Students will need to wear a face covering during the parade. As always, costumes must be appropriate and modest. Nothing too gory or revealing.
Parents will be able to watch the parade at a designated area this year from the church parking lot. Parents may not walk with the classes. Parties will also be closed to the students and teachers only.
We will send more information about the parade route and other information as it becomes available.

Parish Updates
- For those of you who are still a little hesitant to come back to a weekend liturgy, Father Mike would like to give you a special dispensation to attend a daily mass once per week. Daily Masses are 8:30 and 11:30, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and 8:30 only on Wednesday and Saturday.
- If you are still unable to attend Masses because of health reasons, please Mrs. Rzeczycki know at c-rzec@stfrancishhi.org. We are trying to come up with a idea for you all to come back to a Mass safely. We realize that watching the Mass on the TV is just not the same for you.
- We will not be bulk ordering the Little Blue Books for Advent this year. However, you may purchase them on Amazon for $4.00, either a hardcopy or a Kindle download. Ah technology!
- The Bishop has provided us with some information in regards to voting. If you would like to view the letter and also the video, please click on this link.
- We are in the process of planning for Christmas. We have decided that reservations will be taken for the 4:00 and the 5:30 (yes Father has changed this time) Vigil Masses on Christmas Eve. We will let you know when reservations will be open. Masses will be held in the Church and the Gym simultaneously. Reservations will begin mid-December.
- The Knights of Columbus will be out in the Plaza this weekend before and after each Mass taking orders for Christmas Cards. "Keep Christ in Christmas".
