Tomorrow is Field Day! We are looking forward to a wonderful day of outdoor activities for all of the students. Thanks to Mr. Allman for ALL the preparations to ensure that an awesome day will be on tap. The weather forecast is looking warm and sunny for the whole day, remember to use sunscreen. Volunteers are to report to the gym by 8:15 a.m. The PTO is providing water for the students during the morning break at 10:25 a.m. along with a pizza lunch and smoothie for each child between 12:05-1:00 p.m. There will be an assembly in the gym at 2:40 to recognize grade level participants. Here's to a GREAT Field Day tomorrow!
The end of the year Awards Assembly will take place on Tuesday, June 4th in the gym beginning at 2pm. This is an all school assembly with Grades 1 & 2 participating in the Marklund recognition, Technology certificates, Student Council awards, PE fitness awards, Kids for Character certificates, and Peer mediation recognition. After these awards are presented a short break will take place while 1st and 2nd graders are dismissed from the assembly to go back to their classrooms. Following the break the Awards Assembly will continue with 3rd through 5th grade academic awards.
The last day of school for grades 1-5 is Wednesday. June 5th, kindergarten students last day will be on June 4th. Students will be dismissed at 10 a.m. on the 5th.
This is the last Jaguar Journal for the 2018-2019 school year! We hope you have enjoyed reading the Jaguar Journal this year.

New ID Security System
All School District 13 buildings have a new ID security system.
As always, when you enter the building, come to the office first to get a visitor's badge. You will need to bring in your driver's license to be rescanned.

You will be registering your student using the PowerSchool Parent Portal for Returning Student Registration 2019-2020.
Last week, you received instructions printed on yellow paper that was included in your student's report card envelope. Please keep this in a safe place for future reference.

Changes for 2019-2020 DuJardin Hot Lunch - New On-line Ordering System:
We will have a new on-line ordering system through Buona Restaurant.
DuJardin Hot Lunch will still be available to order on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday next year.
Tuesday lunch will be Buona Pizza,
Wednesday lunch will be Buona burgers, chicken tenders and mac-n-cheese
Thursday lunch will be Buona hotdogs, breaded chicken sandwich and pasta marinara
The Buona ordering system will allow parents more flexibility with ordering school lunches. Parents will be able to order and view their students' lunches through Buona's on-line ordering system. The deadline for weekly school lunches will be the Friday before the scheduled lunch. The system will allow parents to order in advance too. Please look for more details at DuJardin Information Day in August.
