CSA 2020 Now Open
Our "What We Grow" list varies from year to year. We have certain crops that we always plant and then we pick some new each year to try. We always get so excited to see how our choices turn out! We hope you are just as excited as we are about fresh produce!
What’s it all about?
The produce and so much more…
* High Quality * Grown Locally * Farm Fresh *
* Handled with Care * Selected for Flavor *
Grown, picked, packed, and displayed, in part, by area students. These are adults and young adults with developmental disabilities AND with abilities to develop via market farming work here.
Subscribing creates a partnership between consumers and farmers. Take comfort in knowing your hard-earned dollar goes directly to the people who plant, tend, and harvest your food locally and that your contribution supports this organization. You will also be supporting sustainable agricultural practices that protect our local soils and water.
The number of crops ready and amount of harvest of a given crop will vary throughout the season. We pledge to provide at least six different items each week. Last year, even with the extensive rain that marked spring and early summer, we always had more than six items. Our shares actually ranged from seven to twelve different items weekly, with ten being the most frequent total of items.
A Look at One CSA Thursday Last Year
Why CSA?
A CSA is a great way to:
- obtain fresh, local produce.
- know where your food comes from.
- support local, sustainable agriculture.
- try new items.
- learn new ways to enjoy favorite produce.
- eat seasonally!
Our CSA is different because it also allows you to support job training for adults and students with disabilities as well as their traditionally developing peers who join us for summer jobs. These adults and young people work right alongside each other and our staff to plan, plant, tend, harvest, and process our produce to have it ready to go each Thursday of our CSA season. Extra produce not needed for our shares is also used to benefit area families that are experiencing food insecurity.
*Goodness Grows aims to provide 10% of our harvest to locals in need.*
CSA subscriptions open now! Contact us and send payment by April 30 to get the EARLY BIRD price on a Weekly Share. The final payment deadline to subscribe is May 29.

Tim Tebow's Night to Shine
One of our favorite nights of the year! Most of our crew attended and everyone had a fabulous time. We appreciate the Highway Tabernacle and all the folks who make this event possible.
