A Weekly Update for Acton Elementary Families
The Tides of Change
Greetings AES families!
I hope this message finds you deep in summer fun and that you are taking every opportunity to soak up time together as a family. As we approach the 2022-23 school year, I am incredibly excited and honored to announce my new role as Principal of Acton Elementary School! I have called AES home for the past 10 years and have had the privilege of serving in a variety of ways - first as a classroom teacher, then as an Instructional Coach, and most recently as an Assistant Principal. The love I have for our teachers and staff runs deep - I truly have never met a more passionate and hard-working group of people than the crew that call AES home. They take the important job of educating your children seriously, pouring all of themselves into everything they do. And your babies... they are the light of our lives and the reason we do what we do. Because their time at AES will set the tone for their entire educational journey, partnering with you to make it a memorable experience and to help your child reach high levels of academic success is our highest priority.
While change oftentimes brings uncertainty, I want to assure you that my commitment to the AES mission of reaching hearts, building character, growing learners and embracing families remains steadfast. I am committed to the mission and vision of Acton Elementary and am eager to build upon the solid foundation that has already been laid. I was born and raised in this incredible community and was deeply influenced by the passionate educators in Granbury ISD that were part of my educational journey. Getting to raise our boys and serve as an educator in this incredible town is truly a dream come true!
