Don't even think about it, Detroit!

Detroit is going bankrupt. The Detroit Institute of Art may be in trouble.
People suggest selling artwork at the Detroit Institute of Art to solve the city's bankruptcy. It won't help. Detroit's debt is roughly 17 billion dollars, while the value of the museum and its art is roughly 2 billion dollars. Detroit can't hold the weight of their dept.
We shouldn't sell the art
It would not resolve many problems if we sell the art in the Detroit Institute of Art such as money. We would actually be losing the museum quicker than it already is.
Three reasons why we should not sell the artwork
No museum=no tourists=no money
If we sell the art, the museum will close. If the museum closes, no tourists and guests will come to the museum. Tourists have to pay, so if no tourists come to the museum, no money will be made.
If the artwork is sold, it won't solve money problems
Artwork in the museum is only worth about two billion dollars. The money that Detroit owes is about seventeen billion dollars.
One of the best museums in America
This is a very good museum with spectacular pieces of art. If the museum closes because the artwork is sold, people will be disappointed, especially people with a love and passion for art.
People love art. It is a big part of people's life.
Lightbulb!
Though many people have different ideas, one is that the museum can sell part of its artwork and keep the rest. Detroit will gain some money and still keep some artwork to have in the museum, if it doesn't close.
