New President
Herbert Hoover’s run for office is now concluded. He was inaugurated on March 4, 1929. Hoover’s opponent was Al Smith. His speeches sounded harsh and prompted people to dislike him. On the other hand Herbert talked in a more intriguing matter. Having Mr. President Coolidge on his side and Babe Ruth campaigning for him helped a lot when it came to the public eye and voting. I believe that president hoover will do this country some good. There is no way to tell the future; we must all just hope for the best.
