Mohawk Trail Regional School District
Enrichment Programs & February Vacation Camp
Our Winter enrichment programs begin this week and we are excited to get started! We are still enrolling students in the middle school programs listed below and we have a few more programs we would like to offer this winter. AND we are bringing back the Hilltown Scout Camp for February Vacation! Enrollment for camp will open on January 8.
If you have already filled out paperwork for a previous program, there is no need to do it again. To enroll your student please email Mrs. Woof to secure a spot for your child.
NOTE: All students participating in after school programs need to be enrolled in their school's Covid-19 Pool testing. Please contact your school nurse if you need to register your child. All of our programs require your child's enrollment forms to be on file and programs with fees need to be paid up front once you receive your confirmation email to finalize your child's spot.
These programs are open to all students in the district and transportation can be provided to the regional school for free and parents pick up when the programs end at 5:30 PM
unless otherwise noted.
February Vacation: Hilltown Scout Camp "The Wonders of Winter"
Are you looking for an educational camp during February vacation? Look no further, the Hilltown Scout Camp is back to provide "The Wonders of Winter" program at MTRS! Students will explore the trails behind Mohawk Trail, try snowshoeing, sledding, animal tracking, and have some gym time each day. Alia Woofenden will lead the group in other hands-on and inquiry based activities that integrate into our winter theme.
This program is open to students in grades k-6 in the district and we will have 18 spots available. In addition, thanks to the generosity of Mary Lyon Foundation, two of those spots have scholarship money available for qualifying families. Families interested in applying for a scholarship spot should fill out the scholarship form found below by January 1st. All families will be notified the following week of their enrollment status.
The camp is open all five days from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM and the cost is $150. This program will be first come first serve, however priority will be given to families who are looking to enroll for the full week. The cost per day is $30. Families need to complete the registration form below and they will be notified about their enrollment status once their form has been reviewed. Payment is expected in full before the program starts.
