The PTA would love your help for two events to help our students and our teachers/school staff. Thanks for choosing one or both options below:
You know you have always wanted to be a chaperone! Help make this year’s Sadie's Dance on Feb 10 from 8-10pm a big success. It really is fun!
We are throwing a Mexican fiesta on February 13 to feed teachers and staff staying late for Parent/Teacher Conferences. PLEASE sign-up to bring something (there’s some minimal effort options) and show your support for our school community.
After Prom Co-Chairs & Volunteers Needed!
We have the date, location, and funds. We just need YOU to help us organize the event! Email email@example.com for more details.
GHS PTA has been providing After Prom for GHS juniors and seniors (and their guests) for over 35 years. This event is free to all juniors and seniors at GHS, regardless of their academic or attendance record and whether they attend prom or not. It is meant to provide a fun and safe night out to celebrate with friends.
Boys Basketball Senior Night!
Girls Basketball in Action!
GHS Bowling Team
We have a team headed to state, GHS Maroon 3, and they will bowl over President's day weekend down at Harmony Bowl in Colorado Springs! The athletes on the team are Cody Martin, Brycen Nankervis, Diego Orduno Martinez, Skyler Roybal, and Evan Santos (all 10th grade).
For the 1st season of bowling at GHS in years, we had over 20 kids join and created 4 full GHS bowling teams. 15 of those athletes will be receiving varsity letters for their growth and commitment throughout the season. I am beyond proud to witness their comradery as a whole GHS team as well as my captains bringing leadership to their individual teams. Our next season will start in October of '24 and we are excited to keep growing the program.

Crutches 4 Africa
Please help Golden Rotary collect mobility devices for Crutches 4 Africa. We are having a collection drive the month of February, with the Movement Gym (700 Golden Ridge Road in Golden) being our collection point. Learn more at www.crutches4africa.org. You can help one of the following ways:
- Drop off crutches, walkers, wheelchairs, canes, jogging strollers and bicycle trailers (mobility devices) at Movement Gym during February. They can also be brought to a Rotary meeting.
- Consider a donation to Crutches 4 Africa to help ship a container to Africa. Shipping is expensive and raising money for transport is just as important as collecting mobility devices.
- Share this collection drive with your friends, family and organizations you are connected with.
If you have questions, contact Kevin Nichols of Golden Rotary at 303-619-5946 or firstname.lastname@example.org
