As we all continue to navigate how, when, and what we are communicating, here are a few resources and tips. There are a few words that are consistent no matter where you look to for advice: LISTEN ** FOLLOW THROUGH/ ACTION ** AUTHENTICITY ** EMPATHY/ CARING
CELEBRATIONS & GRATITUDE!
KUDOS
I do a Monday Morning Check-in with the entire Ed Services department each week. This week, I asked the team "Who is someone who has helped you during this time? I'd love to be able to publicly thank them for supporting teammates!". Here are some of the responses I received:
- Melanie Paterson for tackling our new Farm Fact Friday video production to support distance learning enrichment and better connect Farm Lab to our community
- Sarah Smart in business
- Leslie helped me figure out why I was unable to open a Google doc. I really appreciated her immediate response to help me.
- Glen and ToSA team; The TOSA team! I love being part of this team.
- Tiffany and Rachel B.
- Without a doubt the TOSA Team has been super supportive! We text each other several times a day to support all the teachers' needs the best way we can collectively! Also, Amy, Heather, and Glen have been very helpful as situations arise and in just being positive and caring!
- Angie - she is always there to support as a co-worker and as a friend. She always calls and texts to not only discuss work but check in on me on a personal level. LOVE HER!
- Julie Burton has been so encouraging and helpful and patient with me
- Always thankful for our Ed Services Team!!
- Veronica Gonzalez is always there to support me, checking in on me and even offering to pick up groceries for me!
- Marisela has been great calling Spanish speaking families.
- Angie and Jamie for helping compile enrichment lessons on the back end! As we work to find the best system, they have been incredibly patient and flexible!!!
- Kathleen for helping track mentor/student accountability
- Marisela for mentoring two students.
- Christy Anderson has helped me with several projects. She is always very responsive and willing to help. She takes initiative to get things done on her own like scheduling an appointment to help us with a new task.
- I don't know what I would do without Jamie <3
- Amy, Glen, Leslie, Christy, Tiffany
Thank you all for being a support for one another! We would be succeeding at all if we didn't have amazing teammates here to help us!
