Granite and Basalt.
How and where it is formed?
It is formed from cooling magma that never made it to the surface.
What the rock is used for?
can be used as aggregate, fill etc. in the construction and roading industries (often not ideal for concrete aggregate because of high silica content). It can be cut and polished for dimension stone for building facings, foyers etc.
