Dear Parents and Caregivers
Thanks for supporting ESF Jockey Club Sarah Roe School (JCSRS)
The school was a sea of blue yesterday to advocate for children with Autism and to help raise money for JCSR School. Thanks for your generosity. In total we raised $8,430 - an outstanding effort.

PTA News
Year 2 Fundraiser
The Year 2 Fundraiser last Friday was a huge success. The children and adults both enjoyed the games and yummy treats on offer. A total of $11,441 was raised which will contribute towards the playground renovation projects.
As part of their Exhibition work, Shrada, Erin, Gaia and Angelo from Year 6 took action and sold homemade pom poms and bracelets at the Bake Sale. They raised an additional $1,138.
These proceeds will be donated to Impact HK who’s aim is to make a positive difference to the plight of the homeless in Hong Kong.
Well done Year 2 makers and bakers, and to our industrious Year 6 students for a wonderful community event.
Uniform Recycling
The PTA are partnering with the Year 6s and will be collecting second hand uniforms on Friday 12th April from 8.15 am -8.30 am and on Monday 29th April from 8.15 am - 8.30 am. Please see the Year 6 Exhibition section for further information.
Help make Glenealy plastic free!
The Green Team have taken action and made posters for our classroom bins to encourage students to go plastic free for snack and lunch.
Please support our initiative by helping your child pack snacks and lunch without using plastic wrappers or packaging.
We are encouraging students not to put any plastic wrappers or packaging in our school bins, but to bring them back home to consider reusing or recycling.
Help us take action and make a positive green difference!
Thank you,
The Green Team.

Old Uniform Collection
My name is Noa and I am in Year 6. My Exhibition group is working on "Sustainable Community" and we are looking into how to reuse clothes. We are collecting used (but clean) uniforms from all year groups at Glenealy School to donate to the Crossroads Foundation.
Donations of old uniform for re-use and recycling can be dropped off at the PTA Uniform Shop/ or Year 6 on Friday 12th April from 8.15 am -8.30 am and on Monday 29th April from 8.15 am - 8.30 am.
Remember: You will not be able to use the old style uniforms after the end of June at school anymore.
Thank you to all families that have already recycled old school uniforms. The PTA sent 16 large bags of recycled uniform to Crossroads Foundation at the end of last term, for use overseas. Click here for more information on the wonderful work this charity does. Glenealy is committed to responsible recycling and re-use of our old uniforms. We will be arranging further collections of the old-style uniform later in the year.
Thank you.
