E-Learning Continues this week!
Welcome to Week 4 of E-Learning! Thank you for another great week last week.
Governor DeSantis announced on Saturday that all schools in our state will be closed for the remainder of the school year. This means that students will continue with e-learning through the last day of school on May 28th. Although this announcement makes us heart-broken that we will not return to campus with students this year, we know this decision was made in the best interest of everyone.
EES is committed to ensuring our students receive quality instruction during this time.
You may have noticed that our teachers adjusted the workload for students last week. Our teachers are providing students with instruction on important standards and skills they need to be successful.
In an effort to ensure all parents receive information regarding their child's Progress Report, teachers will contact parents this week to schedule a time to meet on April 27th or April 28th by phone or Zoom meeting. Think of this as a mini APTT meeting. Teachers will go over grades in each subject, review any missing work, and share information about progress during e-learning. This would also be a great time for parents to ask any questions they may have about e-learning.
We realize that this is a unique time. If you need any help during this e-learning experience, please know we are here to help and support you. Please reach out to your child's teacher or call our office if we can assist you in any way. Our phone # is: 863-462-5108.
Daily assignments and activities can be found by accessing your child's Google Classroom. Please log-in, check in with your teacher, and complete assigned work.
We miss all of our EES students and families!
Love,
Mrs. Ellis

Progress Reports During E-Learning!
Grades will be available for parents to view on Skyward on Wednesday, April 22nd. This will include all grades given so far during the 4th nine weeks.
All teachers will contact parents this week to schedule a time to meet on April 27th or April 28th by phone or Zoom meeting. Think of this as a mini APTT meeting. Teachers will go over grades in each subject, review any missing work, and share information about progress during e-learning. This would also be a great time for parents to ask any questions they may have about e-learning.
Please be sure to schedule a time to have this important discussion with your child's teacher.
Student of the Week!
Student of the Week will be announced each week on Tuesday during the morning announcements. These students will also receive a special visit from one of our staff members who will deliver a Student of the Week yard sign. We are recognizing students who are putting forth effort and trying their best during this time of e-learning.
A Glimpse of Last Week...
Our staff have been out assisting many students during e-learning!
