Staff Newsletter - Week of 01/14/19
The Awards Ceremonies went very well! Thank you for all of your hard work and preparation to make sure that this event went well. The parents were great, the students were awesome and we made it happen in less than 35 minutes for each ceremony. Way to Go!!
We need your help! The Father Daughter Dance is right around the corner....February 8. This is a very well attended event that the fathers and the daughters look forward to each year. Since we don't have a viable PTA to lead in the planning of this event, we need your help. Mrs. Compton and I would like to put together a team of volunteers to help make this successful. We are meeting on Tuesday at 3:30 in the Media Center to put together the game plan. There are many ways you can help...set up, clean up, serving, taking photos, placing orders, scheduling entertainment, etc. Please send me an email if you are able to volunteer. See you all on Tuesday afternoon.
Have an awesome week of teaching and learning!
Generals Salute!

Fire Marshal Inspection
The Fire Marshal will be returning soon to re-inspect the building. Mr. Dimitryi will be sharing the information on the report with select teachers to be sure that the problem areas are resolved before she returns. We will also send out the Fire Marshal guidelines that need to be followed. If you have any areas that need to be addressed on that list, please take care of them right away. If you have questions, please ask Dimitryi.
We must PASS the next inspection!
CCRPI Climate Survey
Thank you to everyone who took the RBES Perception survey that is required by the distirct and affects our WSA score. We now need your support with taking the CCRPI Climate Survey. This is required in the state of Georgia and it supports our Climate Star Rating.
Each school must have a 75% participation rate on the Georgia School Personnel Survey. Failure to meet the 75% participation rate on this survey will result in a 0% score; thereby, significantly reducing a school's Climate Star Rating.
Please take the survey by January, 25. Grade Chairs, please send me an email when everyone on the grade level has taken the survey. This survey is for ALL staff....certified and classified.
