Students are divided into the following groups by last names.


Please use the QR code to request a meeting with your counselor. Carefully select your counselor based on last name. QR code posters can be found throughout FHS for easy sign up!

AP/Advanced Course Drops

The window for students to drop an AP/Advanced course is now open and will close on Thursday, December 16th at 4:30 PM. Students must ask for the drop form directly from their teacher. The form requires teacher and parent signature, so please talk to your teachers now if you are considering a drop. This is the last opportunity for students to level down this school year.

Website created by Doug and Melissa Bernstein. She and her husband are the makers of Doug and Melissa toys. She is a lifelong depression sufferer and has struggled with eating disorders. They have created this website, app, all free and is motivational and support for depression and other mental health issues.

ATTENTION: COURSE SELECTION PROCESS FOR 22-23

It is that time of year to start planning your classes for next year. Counselors presented to all junior level history classes the on November 19th and 29th. A follow up email was sent home that you can view here.


Students- make sure you are updating Career Plan in HAC now so that your course verification sheet is as accurate as possible. Deadline to update in HAC is December 17th.

To Locate Scholarships in Xello:

  • Log into Xello from the Student Portal.

  • Click on “College Planning” under Goals & Plans.

  • Select “Search for Local Scholarships” under Local Scholarships.

Use Your Xello Account for Logging Volunteer Hours

Frisco ISD does not require community service for graduation, but we do have an optional recognition program for students with 100 approved hours by April 1st of their Senior year.


Students will now log hours through their Xello account. Step-by-step instructions are below:


From your student portal, click the Xello tile.


  • Log in with your Google Account Info and and then click the About Me title in the first column.
  • Scroll down the page until you get to Experiences.
  • Click the Volunteer box.
  • Enter your service information.
  • In the organization line, please add the organization name and the email of the person in charge of your service event.

While general volunteerism is admirable, the district has specific criteria to qualify for the recognition program for more information about Community Service : Xello - Service Hours
