PrinciPAL letter of the Week

March 25, 2022

Dear NFM@Crawford Families,

Hello, I hope everyone is enjoying the first official week of Spring! We have CMAS testing beginning next week for all 3rd-6th grade students, as many of you already know. In order to make these days a positive experience, we are having “Spirit Week .”Please see your child’s Friday Folder for “Theme Days.”

We had an incredible Upper El Art Show today in our gymnasium! I observed the students presenting to the younger grade level students and engaging in conversations with them. Thank you to those of you who were able to attend!

Next week, be looking for our Spring Read-a-Thon fundraiser! We hope to raise enough money to cover the transportation costs for our end-of-the-year field trips. Our next PTCO meeting will be held on April 7 @ 5 pm here at the school. Please join us in the staff lounge if you would like to help with our end-of-the-year events!

One last reminder to please complete the parent survey! The link is attached below and is still open until March 30.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Ms. Denise

Montessori Moment

We are looking at what Montessori quotes mean to our students. First, second and third graders worked in self selected groups. First they chose a Montessori quote then they created a collage reflecting their understanding of the quote.

What things does your child love?

How do those things reflect a part of who they are?

Ask your child how they would illustrate this quote.
