Big picture
Thank you to everyone who donated food during our Food Drive in November. We were able to collect 2,748 items, which will go directly to Bethel families by supporting our weekend food program, Bethel's Christmas support, and our local food banks.

And an extra special shout-out to Mrs. Martin's class, who will receive a special treat for bringing in 644 items.

THANK YOU FREDERICKSON FLYERS, YOU ROCK!

Winter Cheer Grams

Winter cheer grams are back! With a cute note and a sweet treat, cheer grams are a great way to share some winter cheer with our Flyer friends. Students will be able to purchase grams at lunch recess on December 5th & 6th. They will need their friend's names and the name of their friend's teacher. Cheer Grams are $0.50/each. Parents will be able to purchase grams for their students on December 5th & 6th AFTER parent pick up in the office. You can also email the PTA to purchase at FEPTA09@gmail.com. Cheer Grams will be delivered to students before Winter Break.

Sick Students

Please keep your sick child at home to protect him/her and prevent others from becoming ill. Reasons to keep your child at home may include but are not limited to Covid-19 symptoms, a temperature above 100 degrees, vomiting, diarrhea, or any other contagious symptoms within the past 24 hours. If your child will be absent, please call our attendance line at 253-800-6392.

End-of-Day Change Reminder

We have noticed an influx of last-minute end-of-day changes and want to make sure that all students know their end-of-day plan before 3:05 PM. Per our Student/Parent Handbook, end-of-day change arrangements should be made in advance. Please call the main office at 253-800-6300 no later than 2:30 PM. The office will not be able to able to accommodate end-of-the-school day changes after 2:30 PM. For example, if the buses are loading you may have to pick up your child at the bus stop. Thank you for your help in ensuring that our students accurately get to their end-of-day destination.

Breathe for Change Yoga and Wellness Club

Students in 3rd-5th grade are welcome to join this free after-school club run by Mrs. Goll.

Students will attain new skills for their wellness with the use of movement, breathing, and yoga poses. Yoga mats and equipment will be supplied. Students should come to the club in comfortable clothing.

The club will meet every Wednesday, December 8th-May 31st, meeting immediately after school from 3:05-4:05 PM in room 106. Parents are expected to pick up their child(ren) promptly after class.

Please click on the form below for more information and to fill out a permission slip. If you have any questions please email lgoll@bethelsd.org
