SUMMER FINANCIAL AID INFORMATION

Summer 2019 Financial Aid

To be reviewed/awarded for Summer 2019 Financial Aid:

The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid (OSFA) will automatically review students who meet the following criteria for Summer Financial Aid:

  • Student is enrolled in Summer 2019 (Minimum unit enrollment has not yet been determined)*
  • Student does not have a May 2019 Graduation Check-Out on file
  • Student has an official 2018-2019 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on record with the University of Arizona (UA)

For Summer University Grant consideration, undergraduate students must be enrolled in 6 UA units no later than May 28, 2019.


*OSFA recommends that students be enrolled in all intended summer classes no later than May 1st in order to be accurately awarded with Summer Financial Aid. Summer Financial Aid will be awarded based on the student's current enrollment, at the time the student is awarded.


Awarding Timeline:

Summer Financial Aid will be awarded starting the first week of May and will continue through the summer on a bi-weekly basis through July 14, 2019.


After satisfying all of the eligibility criteria listed above, students should allow up to ten business days to be reviewed for summer financial aid.


Award Notifications:

OSFA will notify students who are reviewed for summer financial via email. All emails are sent to the student's UA email.

Students are responsible for all late fees and/or past due balance charges assessed to their Bursar’s accounts for unpaid tuition charges.
