Note From Mrs. Logan
This weekend kicks off the first Husker Game of the season. At the Logan House we will spend Saturday cheering on the Huskers and eating our favorite Husker game day food, homemade Runzas. As a school we will be celebrating by asking the students to wear red on Friday and through our virtual all school assembly. We will watch some of the best Husker Moments with the students and reflect on our Hawks Expectation of "WORKING TOGETHER" in action on the field. College football is a perfect example of the power of working together. All positions are equally important and essential to success. An amazing quarterback can't do much without a line who protects him. A strong offense can't win a game without a defense who can hold the opponent. In a time where our country is experiencing such separation and isolation it is more important than ever to model and reinforce with children the importance of "Working Together". I am not sure that the Huskers will be able to pull of a victory this Saturday, however for me it will still be a great day of eating Runzas and celebrating the power of TOGETHERNESS!
