There are so many ways to be connected as a librarian, educator, learner and person.

We use several different social networks and digital tools, while connecting face-to-face and in virtual events as well.

As we kick off a new year, my daughter Brianna and I thought it would be fun to celebrate by sharing 12 of our favorite ways to be connected with all of you. We will be sharing all of them on this Smore and writing a blog post on my blog, The Library Voice, to go along with each. The posts will give a few more details and tips to help you.

In 12 Ways To Be Connected that Brianna and I share, you will find a path to becoming a connected educator and person too.

My daughter Brianna and I love to create and pin together in Pinterest. We have walls about books, Makerspaces, technology projects, library spaces, special events, and so much more!

We love the collaborative choices of Pinterest. You can share a wall with someone else to make them a collaborator. This gives them access to the wall and lets the pinning begin.

You can also follow others within Pinterest....and they can follow you or even just particular boards.
