Third Grade Thoughts
Weekly news from Glenhope 3rd grade! (Volume 15-16,Issue 12)
Heritage Day
Glenhope's annual Heritage Day is next Friday, November 20th. We have many activities planned this day to help students explore different cultures/heritages.
Classroom visitors are invited between 9:00-9:40 to share their heritage/origins or memories from childhood. We would love to see you there!
Lunch With the Principal
This program is to reward students who consistently to do the right thing and model themselves as responsible, hard workers.
In order to be consistent across grade levels, one infraction would remove a student's ability to attend Lunch With the Principal. We want to reward those students who have gone above and beyond for the month!
Glenhope Thanksgiving Food & Pajama Drive
Our grade has been asked to bring instant potatoes, flour, and new pajamas size Youth Large - Youth XL. Please consider bringing one or more of these items. Donations may be dropped off in the designated boxes in the front hallway.
If we meet our school-wide goal of collecting 300 pairs of new pajamas, students will get to have another pajama day at school! Thank you for helping us make a difference for families in need!

Growth Mindset: Food for Thought
We continue to work extremely hard to challenge each student and push them to show their full potential.
Oh, the places we'll go as a 1:1 campus
We understand that it can be difficult when your elementary-aged child has siblings in middle or high school who do not get to bring technology home. Unfortunately, we cannot allow siblings to use the iPads. Each iPad belongs to that individual student and they are responsible for it. We have also run into some trouble when siblings are logged into accounts on one of our students' iPads and we have to take time to figure out the problem. Imagine how time consuming this can be if you have multiple children in your class with the same issue!
