Dear Wiggin Street Families,
As we continue the Math-a-thon rewards this week, please know that we are truly appreciative of the support from our students' families and the community. Our students benefit so much from all of you!
Our teachers are learning more about the Science of Reading and Dyslexia this morning as well as having conversations with other same grade level teachers in the district this afternoon. We do not have school Monday for President's Day, so we hope your children are enjoying a nice. long weekend!

Valentine's Day Party Fun!
Math-a-thon
Students have enjoyed participating in the Math-a-thon Sport Rewards. This week some played soccer and/or volleyball with Kenyon athletes. So many smiling faces on the field and court, and we couldn't have asked for a nicer day to play soccer!
The remaining Math-a-thon Rewards are scheduled as follows:
Feb. 21st- BMX Show
Feb. 22nd- Bowling
Feb. 23rd- Glow Party
Feb. 24th- Money Machine
March 1st- Breakfast with Teachers
Grades 3-5 Ohio State Testing Dates
Please keep these dates in mind when scheduling appointments for April. Make-up testing takes some of our educators away from intervention instruction, so we like to limit it as much as possible.
3rd-5th Grade ELA: April 12-13

5th Grade Science: April 25-26

WINTER WEATHER
Please remember that students will go outside on days where the temperature with wind chill accounted for is 20°f and above. Be sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather each day. Coats, hats, and gloves are necessary at this time of the year. Boots are required for playing in the snow. If you need assistance with winter outerwear for your child, please contact our school, and we will happily find warm clothes for them.
Idle-free Zone
For pick up, please do not arrive until 3:30. There is no stopping, standing, or parking on E. Brooklyn St. allowed. Also, please reminder that our school is an Idle-free Zone. Protect our children and the community by turning off your engine.
