December 2, 2022
From the Head of School...
Come to Shopping Night at Barnes & Noble benefiting Summit's Library!
Join us on Thursday, December 15 for some holiday cheer as we raise funds for our school. I will be there to read a festive story to the children. Lots of holiday activities and treats for the kids and a great opportunity to get your shopping done while supporting Summit. All funds raised will go directly to the library. In addition, Mrs. Casey has chosen some very special books that will be on display and available for purchase. PTO will deliver all purchased books to the school library.
Make sure to present the flyer at checkout so Summit gets credit for your purchases. (you can shop all day long and online) Also, if you plan on eating at the Chandler Mall or surrounding restaurants that evening don't forget to save your receipts for School Cents.
Thank you for all you do.
Sincerely,
Dr. Stephanie Nardi
Head of School
From the Board of Trustees...
Dear Summit Families and Friends,
We are so thrilled to kick off our Fall, 2022 Fundraiser for Summit School! This year, as we embark on our 23rd Fall Fundraiser, we as the Board find ourselves overcome with gratitude for Summit families, staff, and the entire community we’ve built over the years.
How lucky we are to be part of building this legacy!
If you’re new to Summit this year, our Fall Fundraiser is a chance for us to acknowledge and financially support the incredible programming and unique learning experiences that make our school great.
- Enrichment Wednesdays
- Athletics
- Preschool programming
- Campus safety improvements
Each fall, we humbly ask for your financial support. Our goal is 100% family unit participation and to hit our target of $100,000 with our Fall Fundraiser. As at other private schools, tuition does not cover the complete cost of a Summit Education. Gifts to Summit’s Annual Fund bridge the gap between tuition income and the annual operating costs.
That’s why we need your help! We are hoping each and every Summit family will contribute to this year’s Fall Fundraiser. But wait! Before you make your donation, keep these things in mind:
- Unlike tuition, donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.
- For every $100 you donate, your family will be entered into a drawing for $2000 and $1000 off tuition* (two tickets will be drawn!)
- The grade level with the highest participation level will win a pizza and treat party (participation is considered any giving at $25 or above.)
- School wide celebration when we hit our target of $100.000.
*Raffle winners will be sent a W9 form to complete and return to the Summit School business office prior to application of the tuition discount.
We can’t meet our goal without your help. The combined impact of every gift size goes directly toward making our great school even better. This means we hope you all will share, contribute, and CELEBRATE with us when we hit our goal!
Please go to our Giving Webpage and then press the “donate” button.
One last thing: please share this link with family and friends! The more support we can get, the better for our students, faculty and staff.
We are thankful and blessed to be part of Summit’s parent community and we are grateful for your support!
Many thanks,
Nicole Johnson
Chair, Summit Board of Trustees

Summit School Community Partnerships
Dear Community Member, Summit School is pleased to announce that we are starting a community partner program with businesses in our local community. We know that connections in the community are invaluable to the success of our school and our local businesses. We would like to invite you to become a Summit Community Partner. This partnership requires no donations or financial support. Instead, we ask for mutual participation. Here is how it works. You agree to be a Summit Community Partner by posting our Summit School Community Partner flyer, poster, or our Summit School brochures in your business. We add your logo to our Summit Community Partners website page and our weekly school digital newsletter. We will reach out to you when we have campus events that you may be interested in for the purpose of sponsorship, table displays, or other connections. We offer you the opportunity to add items or information to our new family welcome bags. To get started, please complete this form or reach out to Kyle Allen, Director of Admissions and Marketing at kyle.allen@summitschoolaz.org. In addition, please send your business logo as a .png or .jpg file to the email address above. Want to know more about Summit School? We would be happy to give you a tour of our campus. If you would like a tour or have any questions, please email Kyle Allen or call 480-403-9506. Thank you for your consideration. In Partnership, Dr. Stephanie Nardi Head of School
