STAFF IN THE LIMELIGHT--WHO IS WHO AND WHAT THEY DO
- Office Manager: Questions regarding registration and open enrollment.
- Attendance Technician: Takes care of tardies and clears absences. She also performs minor first aid and administers medications if you have given us any for your child.
- Family Engagement Facilitator: Any general questions or concerns. If you need connected to support services or to set up a meeting with a teacher for whatever reason, you would work with her. Information regarding students who are English Learners (re. ELPAC testing and reclassification) can be directed to her.
- Counselor: If you have any concerns about your child's emotional well-being, you would contact her. When given parental consent, she works individually and in groups with students to support their success at school.
- Vice Principal: She is on campus Thursdays and Fridays (and every other Monday) and is in charge of student discipline on those days. She is also out supervising students in the morning, recesses, and after school. Give her a wave if you see her!
- Principal: Hopefully, I will get to meet you at a school event, PFO event, or a meeting for our English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC), Parent/Family Organization (PFO), or School Site Council (SSC). If I talk to your student up in the office, for whatever reason, you will get a call from me explaining what happened. If you have serious concerns that have not been met through communication with the teacher, you would also contact me then. I would love to see you at our monthly Coffee with the Principal which will start in November and be held on the first Friday of every month from 8:10-9:10am--drop on by, say hi, and grab some coffee and a donut!

Upcoming Event: November 15
Open Enrollment ends Nov. 15
Most students attend their neighborhood school, but some students have reasons to request another school. "Open Enrollment," from Oct. 1 - Nov. 15, is the time to make that request for the 2020-21 school year. Applications must be completed online during that window. Families who need assistance can come to the SAFE office at 211 Ridgway Avenue. School capacities may restrict availability. See the SRCS district website for more information on Open Enrollment, also known as an "intradistrict" transfer.
