Some Information for the Coming School Year

General Weekly Schedule

Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri: It is expected that GSST students and faculty will begin the school year meeting in the Virtual Environment, rather than Face-to-Face. Students will attend live class conferences up to four times weekly, and may expect active question/answer sessions, lively polling and discussion, break-out small group discussions and projects, student-led presentations, etc. Attendance will be taken and will be confirmed using a variety of tools, including submission of assignments, active participation in live sessions, contribution to discussion board threads, etc. In the event of an unavoidable absence from a session, students will have access to a video recording of the day's session for up to 14 days.

The live sessions (class time) will occur during the times of our conventional bell schedule (displayed in the image below).

Wednesdays: Wednesdays will be reserved for individual students and student groups to meet with various faculty for additional help with assignments, technical help, discussions about student research projects, and other student support.
