GIVE EAST MEDIA CENTER
Students and parents are invited to this interactive workshop to learn how to continue making academic progress when returning to their home school. Parents will acquire skills and strategies to help their child with the four core content areas to ensure a successful transition to the next school or grade level. Parents will receive a variety of resources aligned with their child's upcoming placement and materials outlining their child's progress so that appropriate supports can be selected to ensure a seamless transition

Students who will be successfully completing their High School requirements by August 1st, and their families are invited to attend our Celebration. Please check with your counselor, if you are unsure. No RSVP needed. Students please arrive at 4:30 pm. Sunday Best/ Business Casual attire required.

Community Events This Summer
Kids, teens can get free meals at Gwinnett parks this summer
All Gwinnett County residents 18 and younger can get free lunch and snacks at three parks this summer, according to the Gwinnett Parks Foundation.
The meals will be distributed at Best Friend Park in Norcross, Rhodes Jordan Park in Lawrenceville and the Lilburn Activity Building, an indoor recreation center managed by the county parks department. Kids and teens don’t have to qualify for free lunch at school in order to get the summer food; they just need to show up
GCPS Book Mobile Summer Routes
Book Mobile summer routes are now available and the flyers are attached below. Visit http://gcpsbookmobile.org to access the routes by clicking on the hamburger menu in the upper left corner
The Book Mobiles will be operating six days each week (we've added Saturdays!) and serving six clusters this summer beginning June 3.
The Explore Book Mobile will visit neighborhoods in Berkmar, Discovery, and Norcross clusters.
The Pow Book Mobile will visit neighborhoods in Central, Discovery, Meadowcreek, and Shiloh clusters.
