Family Night-80's Dance Party

Big picture

Let's Dance the Night Away with Danny from "Happiness is Now" (see link below)! Danny will be hosting assemblies during the day for our students and a Family Dance Party, that night, for our students and their parents. Danny is a Walnut Valley Unified Alumnus and spreads positivity to schools and families through dance. Don't worry if dancing isn't your thing. We work together and everyone ends up dancing, by the end of the show. Come dressed in your 80's attire.

This event is ONLY for CJ Morris Students.

Prevent Cyberbullying

Preventing Cyberbullying: Tips for Parents

  • Monitor your child's activities while they are online. This can be done informally (through active participation in, and supervision of, your child’s online experience) and formally (through software).

  • Use filtering and blocking software as a part of a *comprehensive* approach to online safety, but understand software programs *alone* will not keep kids safe or prevent them from bullying others or accessing inappropriate content. Most tech-savvy youth can figure out ways around filters very quickly.

  • Teach and reinforce positive morals and values about how others should be treated with respect and dignity.

  • Model appropriate technology usage.
