Sundays From The Mesa # 11
Week of October 17th-21st, 2022
Warm Weather Is Not Giving UP!!!
We had a great end to the week on Friday as we had our first Alta Mesa Movie night on the grass outside our gym. Parents and students enjoyed a wonderful evening watching Hotel Transylvania and eating popcorn and drinking cider. The turn out was great, and other than our screen blowing over once everything worked really well. We look forward to offering this again in November with a Holiday themed movie.
This week is our digital citizenship week. All EESD schools will be focusing on healthy ways to use technology. Discussions will cover cyberbullying and its consequences as well as many other topics relating to modern day technology and our lives online. This is a great way for students to begin to process the best ways to interact with the online world. It's also a great week for parents to talk to their children about what they do online.
We are in the season of field trips. Our 5th graders are making their way up to Lassen twice this week and many classes are going to the Pumpkin Patch. I want to remind parents to look for permission slips for their children and also classes asking for volunteers to help with the field trips themselves.
It looks to be another great week here at Alta Mesa! Thank you for your continued support! Go Eagles!!!
Thank you,
Ryan Miller- Principal Alta Mesa School.
