Loveland Schools’ “Feed the Kids Fund” supporting families in need
Through the generous donations of local businesses and individuals to Loveland Schools’ Feed the Kids Fund, all lunch account balances for district families who fall just above the threshold to qualify for free or reduced meals have been cleared.
“We are extremely grateful for the contributions to the fund,” said Kris Tracy, Loveland City School District Food Services Director. “All negative balances on student accounts have been wiped away by the kindhearted actions of many wonderful people and businesses in this community, providing families in need a fresh start to the new school year. These are families that may need a little extra help at times, but have no place to turn,” said Tracy. (Read more.)

Thank you for your contributions to the Dorian Drive!
“Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Dorian Drive. The response was overwhelming! We collected over 3,000 items in a little over a week. The items are all boxed up and ready to go to Matthew 25: Ministries who will then ship and distribute them to the hurricane victims in the Bahamas. This whole experience has been one of the most positive experiences of my life. I have been motivated by all of the support I have received from everyone especially my history teacher, Mr. Geiger, as well as the administrators throughout the district. I am positive that the recipients of these items will be appreciative of your generosity.”
