Inspired Every Day...

This week, after sitting in on an online professional chat (#ohedchat) based around school and community engagement led by our very own BWIS Principal, Ryan McLane, I started to rethink my newsletter and how I could improve. Baby steps... I decided to start including the video segments at the bottom with our children. What better way to hear about what has happened all week than from them?

Important Dates

Sept. 7th - NO SCHOOL

Sept. 8th - Evaluation Committee Meeting - More information to come! Until then, check out Mr. Cooper's videos:

  • Keep constant communication with parents - positives and concerns - This is increasingly important as we have now eliminated interim reports.
  • Keep websites updated weekly - Some need updating.
  • Send a copy of Conference Sign-ups (when completed and make note of any conferences you might need assistance with. I will be happy to attend.)
  • Remember to review safety drills and general procedures with your classes
  • Students are pre-batched into all of the online programs - do NOT re-enter students.
