Chalkley University: Managing Challenging Behaviors
I apologize for the late communication. We had some technical difficulties yesterday.
Thank you to all of our families who attended our Chalkley University Workshop focusing on Managing Difficult Behaviors. Whitney Kern shared some great strategies and resources that we hope our families found useful. If you were unable to make it but would like to know what resources may be available to you and your family, please don't hesitate to give us a call.
Read below for some important information and upcoming events:
- Our Lost and Found is getting full which means that some students are missing items. Please be sure to check for any missing items by December 15. Any items not claimed by this date will be donated to the Good Will.
- December 13 the PTA will be hosting the annual Holiday Shop. More information to come.
- Join us at 5:30 P.M. on December 14 to witness our wonderful 3rd grade students perform a few musical numbers and enjoy our Math Night event. We hope to see everyone there.
- PEP classes began on November 29th and will continue every other Wednesday from 5:30-7. The classes will focus on understanding U.S. school culture and how to help students be successful in school while learning school-focused vocabulary. The classes will be taught over an eight week period and will occur every other Wednesday. Childcare will be provided.
- As always continue to pull all the way through the student drop of line in the morning. Also, please do not use your cell phone while going through the line. Safety is always first and we need all of our drivers to be attentive as we have students exiting vehicles. Thank you for your cooperation.
We look forward to seeing our wonderful Roadrunners tomorrow morning! Have a great evening!
