Breaking News

This week's JV MATCH against Nimitz has been moved to TOMORROW, TUESDAY, October 8, 2019!!

The DEADLINE for FALL FLOWER SALES has been EXTENDED to Friday, October 18, 2019!! The EXPECTATION is for each player to sell at least 15 flats. The tennis program relies on the fundraiser for expenses such as ball machines, tennis balls, repairs, tournament fees and expenses, snacks, drinks, etc. Since each flat provides a $9 profit to the tennis program, players not wishing to sell flowers are should donate $135 or $9 per flat that is not sold. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, so PLEASE contribute and volunteer.

We will have officially won district after tomorrow's match, and the Bi-District match is scheduled!! Tuesday, October 15 @3.30pm—Varsity Bi-District Match v Denton Guyer @CHS

Aces

Coppell had another great showing at this weekend's CMZ. Sumita Bhattacharyya became a Champ, and Ishaan Dhandapani became a Super Champ!! Congrats to these players on their achievements!

Additionally, Devan Patel received his Eagle Scout. The following is a letter from his parents...

Devan Patel, who’s been a wonderful son of ours. It is evident that this young man has learned a great deal from the Boy Scouts of America and it is our belief that he exhibits the qualities and leadership of an Eagle Scout on a daily basis. His integrity and his overall kindness should be an example to us all.

From the time we signed Devan up as a cub scout to this very day, few months before his eighteenth birthday, Scouting has proven to have an extremely positive impact on our son’s life. He’s committed to providing his Daily Good Turn, he does his best to help out at home and at school (according to all of his teachers), and he’s a positive role model to his younger brother. My husband and I couldn’t be prouder of our son as we watched him earn all 21 of his badges and successfully complete his Eagle Scout Service Project. We are confident that our son, Devan Patel, displays the principles held within the Scout Law and Oath in all aspects of his life.

Our son is a fine example of what it means to be an Eagle Scout; loyal, reverent, helpful, friendly, and kind. His involvement in our temple, his wonderful group of friends, and the precedent he sets for his younger sibling are all a testament to Devan's character. As a proud parents, we look forward to seeing our son attain this remarkable achievement.
