WL Weekday
Buckhead Church - Twos
Hello Moms and Dads,
We are fascinated to watch some of our kids working with patterns! They hit a milestone when their brain can follow the sequence without our help!
This week, Ms. Lisa got sick and i haven't felt good for days, so we had to accomodate our lesson plans to our reality and still provide what our kids needed.
The theme was Fairy Tales. The kids enjoyed pretending they were kings, queens and princesses. In alusion to some classic Disney fairy tale stories, our kids enjoyed playing with brums, dust pans, mirrors, princes and horses and dressing up for a surprise Tea Party to celebrate Ms. Priscilla's birthday (Infant's teacher).
We read the Bible story about Esther and learned that God used her as a queen to save His people. We prayed that God may also use us to save people. It is always so cute to see those little ones praying!
We also worked with "handwriting without tears", mini building blocks and geometric puzzles.
Mondays and Wednesdays...
Until the end of the Summer, we will combine with Ms. Makeisha's class every afternoon and, on Mondays and Wednesdays, the whole day. We are taking advantage of the low numbers to slowly introduce our kids the routine and structure they soon will be in.
If you have any question please don't hesitate to contact us.
Friendly Reminders...
COMFORTABLE WALKING SHOES - Please make sure your child, especially the little girls, always have an extra pair of shoes/socks suitable for long walks. The cute little sandals are not appropriate for our long walks outside. The same for the boys that sometimes come wearing flip flops ;).
