How to Create a Tunnel Book
How to Create a Tunnel Book for Arts Integration
So what is a Tunnel Book?
It’s made of paper panels that are spaced in a specific way. When a viewer stands in front of the artwork it looks like a complete landscape, scene, or setting. As the viewer moves around, they can look through, above, and below the work of art and see separate worlds within the same piece. They are surprising, innovative, and technically amazing. They are basic to make, but have a big impact when fully constructed.

Surprise Scientific Drawings
Surprise Scientific Drawings for Arts Integration
The concept of Good Fish/Bad Fish can be applied to Arts Integration so easily. As long as the process stays the same, the topic or subject can change. It would be a great concept for Scientific Observational Drawings or project displays. They could show additional information or labeling inside the drawing.
Some Ideas: Volcanoes, Layers of the Earth, Parts of a Cell, Body Systems, Water or Life Cycles, and Fossils

Volunteer/Employment Opportunities
The Volunteer Action Center (VAC) by the United Way of Tanana Valley
Ready to set up an account with the VAC? When you sign up, you'll be asked to indicate the causes you are most passionate about, as well as your volunteer interests. By providing this information, you'll make it easier for the VAC to recommend the organizations and volunteer opportunities that match your values and preferences. You'll also have a chance to "fan," or follow, one or more agencies that are registered with the VAC!
When a volunteer fans an agency, they'll get email updates whenever their fanned agencies post new needs or events. It's a great way for a volunteer to keep abreast of what their favorite nonprofits are doing in the community, and to be among the first to sign up for new opportunities that they care about. The agencies shown in this step are primarily those whose causes match the new volunteer's.
