Read Squared
Here is a link to a Cliff notes tutorial on getting into Read Squared, how to check the leader board, etc. https://youtu.be/sGI23bJsN_g
The top 10 % of readers will celebrate with a pizza party and prizes.(Depending on how many kids participate, that could be ALL of them). Feel free to share this info with your kids in classroom and encourage the to log in. You can check the leader board as well and look at only your homeroom to see who is participating if you want to issue your own challenges. I'll post periodic updates and shout outs on FB over the summer, so have them get their parents to follow the page for updates too.
Staff Development Opportunities for Teachers
The Summer PFK Catalog has just come out, and there are LOTS of great worshops being offered this summer. I've highlighted just a couple sessions you might like to take a look at, but take a look through the catalog and see what else is available as well.
If the session is full, but you still REALLY want to take the course, register for it anyway. Because classes are online this summer, I was told they may allow extra people into the course.
