The Northfield Education Foundation (NEF) needs you!
What is the NEF?

- give out $1200 in teacher grants to support classroom projects
- fund the 4th grade trip to the Philadelphia Art Museum
- purchase the new Drama Shed
- purchase a Smart Board
- pay for Student Character and Teacher of the Month awards
- fund the new 5th/8th and 4th/7th grade mentoring programs
Your support goes right back into our school. Please consider donating some of your time to volunteering this year, even if it is only one time.
Fall Movie Night
Bring the family, your blanket, sleeping bag, pillow and/or a beach chair and join us for a family movie. This month's movie will be "Home."
This is a free event with a suggested donation of $5. This is not a drop-off event; parents must stay. Refreshments will be sold.
Art Goes To School
Art plays an important role in developing a child’s imagination and in appreciating the works of a wide cross-section of peoples and cultures. The "Art Goes to School" program makes fine art accessible by bringing it into the classroom.
People of all ages who enjoy working with children and are excited about art are welcome to become "Art Goes to School" volunteers!! You will work with the classroom of your choice to schedule and deliver a brief lesson on fine art. Volunteers can choose to provide lessons once or several times; all levels of availability are helpful!! There is no need to be good at creating art, just a love for art and a desire to interact with children in the classroom.
