Update 9.27.23
People have expressed frustration over the ambiguity of the ARP. My intent was to roll this out in small pieces to avoid overwhelming people. The initial plan was:
- August - introduction. Review data and develop goals by October
- October - dig into T1 data and identify strategies.
- January - reflection on T1 data and identify strategies for T2
- March - reflection on T2 data and identify strategies for T3
- Wrap up - discuss your findings during your summative conference.
This information was shared in the initial meeting, but I know that people won't remember all these details.
So, I'm revamping the plans and am instead providing you with a guide to complete your ARP, which ideally is the same as your TPEP goal(s) so that you aren't doing additional data reviews. I will not be scheduling additional meetings to review the ARP expectations. You will see that this is not a huge task - it was never meant to be huge but rather a simple shift in the data you are examining already for your PLC work. The guide also includes a sample goal statement. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Please download the guide below.
