Warrior Life
We had another great week at Warren. This week started with showing our teachers how much we appreciate them. Our students gave numerous gifts and cards telling their teachers how much they have had an impact on them. Teachers were treated to multiple tasty treats throughout the week as well. This week our Warriors completed their last STAAR exam of the school year this week. They have prepared long and hard for their math exam. 8th grade U.S. History classes began their project in which they got to choose a historic event that they wanted to research further. They were given the choice to decide how they wanted to display their research. This week our art students had their art work displayed at the district art show. We had numerous displays representing art projects that had been conducted throughout the school year. We had many Warriors receive awards this weekend at the art show.

Teacher of the Week
7th & 8th Grade Award Ceremony
We are asking for parents/guardians that are attending to have their student arrive at least 20 minutes early. The ceremony will begin at 6pm. We also ask that parents limit the number of attendees due to the limited space in the gymnasium. We do ask that students do dress accordingly for this event. Parking is limited in the back and some parents may need to park in the front of the school.
Last Two Days of School
8th grader will be allowed to wear athletic shorts with a t-shirt on this day.
On Tuesday May 23 our Student Council has created some activities for our whole campus. Our students will participate in a Big Pink Ball tournament. Capturing Kids Hearts Theme - Integrity
Integrity is the ability and willingness to live with honesty and excellence. People who act with integrity make a choice to do the right thing, no matter who is watching. Integrity is the foundation on which we build relationships and trust.
Why Focus on Integrity?
- Integrity generates trust. When we are honest and follow through on promises, we gain the confidence of our team; Trust allows us to collaborate and achieve more together.
- Integrity encourages self-assessment. Integrity requires our regular self-assessment to align behaviors with our goals and self-beliefs.
- Integrity is essential in leadership. Great leaders decrease anxiety and build strong teams when they are honest, consistent, and responsible.
Drop Off and Pick-up Procedures
Drop-off:
- Please make sure that your student is ready to exit the vehicle as they near the building and drop off zone.
- Please have your student exit the vehicle once they have been asked to by a staff member
- Please do not drop your student off on Bois D'arc or the back of the parking lot. This is a safety hazard and we do not want our students darting in front of moving traffic.
Pick-up:
- Please communicate with your student once school is out where you are in the drop-off line
- Students are asked to walk with their cars until there this a stop in the pick-up lane. This keeps the line moving and keeps large gaps in the pick-up lane from occurring
- Students are not allowed to walk across the parking lot across Bois D'arc to get to their vehicles
- Please utilize the second lane once you have picked up your student
