Principal's Notes for 8/13/21

Park Hall Families,

We hope everyone is having a relaxing and healthy summer. We are very excited for the upcoming school year and having students attend school five full days a week!

We have a few reminders and important dates:

  1. If you have a student to register, now is the time to do it. The office is open from 8:30 to 3:00 for registration.
  2. Please bring the birth certificate, proof of residence (SMECO, Lease, Deed, or Water bill), shot record, physical, and a parent/guardian driver's license.

We have 600 students attending Park Hall and to help maximize and personalize the open house experience, we have spread out the timeframes for families to attend.

  1. Open house for Pre-K is Friday, August 27 from 9:30-12:00 by appointment. The pre-kindergarten teacher will be contacting each family to schedule an appointment.
  2. Open house for kindergarten is Friday, August 27 by appointment. Kindergarten teachers will be contacting each family to schedule an appointment.

    1. All students going into kindergarten, first, and second grade will need to exchange their IPADs for a laptop. Students new to St. Mary's County Public Schools will need to pick up their child's laptop.

    3. PLEASE let your child teacher know how your child will be getting home from school (Parent pick-up or bus number). This is very important to help us get all students home safely and free from any stress.
