HFRCS Newsletter SY2021-2022
January 11, 2022 - Vol.1 Issue 21
From the Principal's Office
Dear Parents and Guardians,
After a challenging start to the new year with weather and the uptick in COVID, we are settling down to some consistency in learning.
This Friday we will be previewing our Catholic Schools Week theme by having a Disney $1 dress down day! Wear your favorite Disney themed attire (or primary colors) and support our Student Council.
This Monday, January 17 there will be NO SCHOOL as we recognize the Martin Luther King, Jr. national holiday.
Out of an abundance of caution, and in order to welcome as many guests as possible into our school, the Catholic Schools Week Open House has been postponed. Please see updated information from Jim Downey, our Enrollment Director, in this newsletter.
Next week we will share more information about the events planned for Catholic Schools Week. We look forward to sharing all the wonderful things that make our Catholic school an inspiring, challenging and nurturing environment for our students. Stay tuned!
Sincerely Yours in Christ,
Mrs. Haggerty

School Closure, Delayed Opening, and Early Closure
In the event that the school is closed due to inclement weather, weather-related problems, or other emergencies, parents are directed to the media resources below:
- An alert posted on the home page of the school website at www.hfrcs.org
- The school’s Facebook page
- Text and email will be sent through My Students’ Progress
Each family is responsible for providing adequate care and supervision once the child leaves Holy Family. It is highly recommended that each family discuss its plan in regard to an early dismissal, especially when inclement weather is predicted.
Note: For delayed openings, there is no school for half-day PreK students.

Bridge Education Foundation Volunteer Service Reminder
Dear Parents and Guardians,
With a new year upon us, I wanted to remind you that volunteer service hours are now due if you received a Bridge Grant in the last year. If you are involved in any number of activities such as Home & School, CYO, service to the parish, school or broader community, those hours will likely count towards the 40-hour requirement set by the Bridge Foundation. The Bridge approved volunteer form is attached and should be completed and returned to the Advancement office by Monday, January 31, 2022.
If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you for your assistance.
