RHS Interact Club Update
This year our RHS Interact Club has worked hard to purchase a water well in Nigeria through the Samuel Omogo Foundation. The cost of a well is $5000. This week we have reached our goal! There will be a Rockford Public Schools well built in Nigeria this summer. Our well will service five to ten thousand people. It will reduce water borne illnesses, bring clean water closer to a village, and save many lives. Interact/Thirsting to Serve owes thanks to many teachers who allowed us into your classrooms to teach about the world water crisis and collect donations. Special thanks to our sixth grade classes at both North and East for doing amazing fundraisers to help us meet our goal.
Below are some pictures of what our well will look like and what the water source looked like before.
Congratulations to RHS Regional Scholastic Art Award Recipients

Spring Play: The Curious Savage
May 14,15,16 7pm Adults $8, Students $5
This warm-hearted comedy revolves around Mrs. Ethel Savage, a slightly eccentric widow who has been left ten million dollars by her late husband. She wants to use the money to establish a fund which would help others realize their hopes and dreams, in spite of the efforts of her grown-up stepchildren to get their hands on it. Fearful that she will squander the money before they can get hold of it, the greedy siblings have the widow committed to a sanatorium where she meets a most interesting group of social outcasts. With the help of her new-found friends, Mrs. Savage leads her stepchildren on a merry chase and along the way learns the true meaning of family.
